Contemporary image in traditional Nihonga, an ancient Oriental method of painting using mineral pigments metal leaf and rabbit glue, each panel has an application of upto 36 layers, and the colours emerge depending on the viewing angle, for example as you travel up and down on the escalator, and at different times of day.
